Discussion and Action Items  
a.  
Updated Fishing Regulations for 2025  
Amy Knopp, Manager, Rueter-Hess, addressed the RAB and reviewed the proposed  
Rules and Regulation changes for fishing and trolling electric motors.  
Staff is working with the County Media Team and are crafting a standardized unified  
message with FAQ’s to share with the stakeholders for unified language and messaging.  
New fishing guidelines after July 1, 2025, will be:

Updated Property Regulations for 2025  
Amy Knopp, Manager, Rueter-Hess, updated the RAB on updated Property Regulations  
for 2025.  
Safety Boat Update  
Amy Knopp, Manager, Rueter-Hess, updated the RAB about the delivery of the Safety  
Boat today, June 13, 2025. The RAB would like to meet at the reservoir for the next  
RAB meeting to view the new safety boat.

Social Trail Update  
Staff informed the RAB about the social trail on the Rosie Rueter Bypass Trail. A fence  
will be installed in front of the social trail to help protect the resource.

Rueter-Hess Update for May 2025  
Amy Knopp, Manager, Rueter-Hess, briefed the RAB on an increase of special events at  
the property.  
On June 7th the property had three special events on the same day at different locations  
on the property. Colorado Gun Avoidance training was well attended. It is estimated the  
event had 300 people and 350 dogs.  
The reported stats for visitation are now showing years 2023 through 2025.  
Rueter-Hess Budget Update for May 2025  
No discussion.

Life Saving Recognition of Dylan Roberts, Ranger  
Amy Knopp, Manager, Rueter-Hess proudly presented Dylan Roberts, Park Ranger, with a Life  
Saving Award for his heroic efforts saving a life while training at Boyd Lake State Park.

New Board Appointee for the City of Castle Pines  
Larry Nimmo, Public Works Director, The City of Castle Pines, introduced Marcus Graves who  
will be replacing Larry Nimmo as their representative on the Rueter-Hess Advisory Board  
(RAB).  
Town of Parker's Dash Across the Dam  
The Town of Parker will be holding their Dash Across the Dam 5K Race this Saturday, June 14,  
2025. Staff is working with the Town of Parker on logistics in preparation for this event in  
which they expect over 300 participants.
