Discussion and Action Items  
a.  
Update on Entry Station Improvements  
Amy Knopp, Manager, Rueter-Hess, updated the RAB on the progress of the entry  
station improvements.  
b.  
Rueter-Hess Update for June 2025  
Staff briefed the RAB on the new safety boat's performance and the difference it has  
made during assists and rescues on the reservoir in the short time since receiving it.  
The rangers are scheduled for deep water rescue training.  
July 4th was the busiest day at the reservoir. There were 132 reservations.  
July 9th a big media campaign was released regarding the new fishing regulations and  
electric trolling motors allowed at Rueter-Hess.  
The RAB discussed the recent drowning at a local reservoir and wanted to reiterate their  
commitment to the Rueter-Hess policy which requires everyone to have their life jackets  
on while on the water.

Rueter-Hess Budget Update for June 2025  
Amy Knopp, Manager, Rueter-Hess, updated the RAB on the expeditures for 2025 up to  
date this year.  
We have funds allocated in our budget for phase 2 of the docks in 2025 and a phase 3 in  
2026 if the RAB decides to persue them. If not the money will remain in the account.  
Property Tour  
The RAB members will be taking a tour of the reservoir from the new patrol boat  
immediately following the meeting.

Other Business and Discussion  
a.  
Catch and Keep Fishing Discussion  
Staff updated the RAB on catch and keep fishing which started July 1st on certain species. At  
this time there has not been any reports of any walleye being caught. Several perch have been  
caught.
