Approval of Minutes  
Board Chair, Chris Schutzenberger, moved the Board should approve the minutes of December  
18, 2024 with the correction to item C: High Line Canal Conservancy to include the wordage  
"...funding from the Historic Resources Fund be limited to the purchase of historic signage  
only."

2025 Slate of Officers  
Board Vice Chair, Mary O'Pry, made a motion to approve the 2024 officers to remain in  
their current positions for 2025. Chris Schutzenberger, would remain Chair, Mary O'Pry  
would remain Vice Chair, and George Price would remain Secretary.

Parks, Trails, and Rueter-Hess Activity Reports  
There was no discussion. If the HPB have questions they will contact staff.

Curator Updates  
Brittany Cassell, Curator, briefed the HPB:  
Projects  
-Hidden Mesa Chicken Coop (Deep Roots craftsman are working on the chicken coop  
restoration)  
-Spring Valley School  
-The County did not get awarded SHF grant for Greenland Post Office staff will need to  
apply again in April 2025.  
Repository Work with Todd McMahon, County Consultant:  
-Continue to work on the design for the Museum for Parker Water Headquarters  
-Mural, wagon, painting conservation, fossils (staff shared the design presentation)  
-No timeline as of completion of parts of the projects  
-Donation from Dave Parsons are being inventoried at the Repository  
-Staff continues to receive artifacts from Bill Noe  
- 2 large lava rocks from the 1965 flood  
- Large piece of petrified wood  
Events  
There is a meeting on 1/29/2025 at the Castle Rock library with a history advocacy  
group. The members are the Castle Rock Library, Douglas Land Conservancy, DC Open  
Space, and citizens. Staff is hoping for more collaboration and cooperation to be able to  
share artifacts.  
Brittany Cassell, Curator will update COSAC on 2024 project work on February 6th.  
Demo Site Visit  
Staff was able to walk around the site of an old equestrian site to be demolished near  
Bayou Gulch.  
-Signs, horseshoes, and other artifacts were recovered
